dear diary ,
Another year has started, and though nothing much has happened yet, I can just tell that this year is going to be my year. I've been working hard all summer and I know I've impressed my teachers here, and now all I need to do is impress the casting directors on Broadway. Yep, I'm gonna do it. I'm going to audition for something this year. I'm not sure what yet, exactly, but by the time next summer hits I plan on getting my toes wet and being in a Broadway show. I might not get a lead role, which I'm okay with, but I would love to have a role at least. Any experience will only help me at this point. Being in shows back in Seattle was fine, but it's so cut throat out here that I need any advantage I can get. Now I just need to do it without the other drama girls knowing. I know how catty and bitchy they can get...
In other news, I've suddenly gained an interest in dance. ;] Remember me telling you about Julian Kane last year? Well, he's back again this year and looking better than ever. We still don't really talk, though, which is kind of a bummer but that doesn't mean he's not interested. I've caught him looking at me a few times. We'll see what happens. I've heard he might teach an extracurricular dance class this year. Guess who's going to be the first to sign up for that?
