my name is erika johansson, and i'm a fourth of july baby. no, my parents weren't planning on the whole independence day thing, because i was actually born in denmark. we all moved to portland when i was about a year and a half. mom said my music and dance started right away. i guess i was dancing even before i was walking or something. i have two best friends and the three of us formed a girl band, i guess akin to the spice girls but not really. we do play instruments too. plus, our music is more now. i guess you could call is the female jonas brothers. that's what my sister calls us. girl jonas'. so i punch her.
who inspires you?
that is a really in depth answer. there are so many people who inspire me. the beatles, elvis presley, billy idol, michael jackson, britney spears, lady gaga, beyonce... a really big one for me is nastia liukin. i'm huge into gymnastics, especially combined with my dancing. and she won an olympic gold medal.
are you, or have you ever been, in a clique?
i guess you could call our still nameless girl band a clique. we're always together. in high school, we were called 'the trio' by our classmates. we are glued to each other. so maybe a little? i don't know.
what is your religious view on life? if you have one, which religion do you call yours?
i'm not a very religious person. i don't go to church every sunday. i know what i believe, and that's all that matters. i believe in gay marriage, and abortion, but i don't really think heaven and hell are what the bible makes them out to be. i think that heaven and hell are designed for the individual person. so if you think your heaven is a bed of clouds, then it is. if you think your hell is listening to one direction on repeat, then it is.
what is your deepest, darkest secret?
can i really trust you? okay okay. fine. i'm bisexual. and i've got a huge girlcrush on one of my best friends. please don't tell her!
