yeah so i'm kendall seaver. i'm the only daughter of evan and willa seaver, born march 30th, 1992. i was born in new york city, but our family moved to portland when i was 10. so it's really good to be back here in the city actually. i've missed it. ten years is a long time to be away from your hometown. it's like a massive homecoming for her every time.
is that the only reason you came to mcoa?
absolutely not! i came to mcoa for more reasons than just to come back to new york. obviously i could have auditioned for the musical theater program at nyu, or the music program at julliard or whatever. i came to mcoa because my best lady friends came here too, and we're part of a girl group. and yeah, we're gonna be famous one day. don't you forget it.
if music's your major, what's your minor (if you have one)?
dance. i love dancing, and i love acting too. i've been dancing and acting ever since i saw my first broadway show. and since i know you're gonna ask it, my first show was hairspray when i was 13 when we came back for the summer to visit family. and since then i've seen every broadway show possible during my vacations. i started in the community theater that fall once i got back, so i've been dancing and acting for nearly 7 years. but dancing kind of goes hand in hand with singing so that's why it's my minor.
what are you more serious about? singing or dancing?
obviously singing, you dope. it's my major after all, duh! don't get me wrong, i love dancing, but singing is something i do with my girls. i love them to death, and we're gonna make it big together. remember our names because you'll be seeing them in the music store one day.
what's the group called?
we're called "the trio" which is what we came up with back in portland. but the name is not the point. the point is, we're three hot bitches with sexy, powerful voices that will be grammy winners their first year on the charts. so remember who we are and remember our voices. you won't want to forget them.
