"well, at least i'd know there'd be one person interested," julian said with a smile in reply to grace. though he didn't fully admit it, he was worried that if he did sign up to run an extracurricular, that nobody would signup and he'd have to cancel. it was a great idea that the school was splitting the extracurriculars up by junior and senior grades, but there was still that small spot of doubt in his mind. "that would be really cool not to mention helpful," julian told grace as she explained her plans for the year. "i hope you can find someone who'll take you on," he said to her sincerely, not having to worry about her stealing a part he'd also go for in their near futures, not realizing the gap between them was slowly closing.
