well, um, i'm jackson. strange name for a girl? yeah, i'm aware. anyways, i was born and raised in los angeles, my mom left my dad when i was five. i still talk to her a little bit, but we lost touch about a year ago. my dad was, and still is a workaholic, so he doesn't really pay attention. i think the only time he paid attention to me was when i said i wanted to major in dance and not law. he though it was unpractical but still pays for a little bit of my tuition. my mom doesn't pitch in at all, so i work a job as a waitress now to get some more money to pay for school. what else... um, i've been dancing since i was nine. i dance mostly to hip hop, but i can also do ballet, contempary, and jazz.
where do you see yourself in seven years?
i'll be twenty seven, damn that sounds old. i guess i would see myself as a famous dancer in a crew that's pretty well known around the world. maybe i would have a boyfriend? i honestly doubt it though.
what is your favorite childhood memory?
that's actually pretty hard even though there aren't that many to choose from. i guess i would say that my favorite childhood memory was when my dad showed up at one of my dance recitals. at the end he told me that i was wonderful at it. that was um, before he decided he wanted his daughter to go to yale and be a lawyer.
if your friends were to describe you in five words, what would they be?
they would say that i'm stubborn, crazy, trustworthy, ha, one of them called me energetic once. my best friend always said that i was the one who was always loyal.
what do you like to do in your spare time?
um don't tell anyone, but i'm like addicted to old movies. like the no sound ones, and the black and white movies. i love them to death, that's mostly what my friends caught me doing when i had free time.
