Well, I'm Charlotte Hamilton, I'm nineteen soon to be twenty and I was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut. I grew up in a wealthy family, my father, Parker a successful CEO and my mother Elle, is the director of the community theater in Stamford. Here at MCOA I have a bit of a reputation for being a triple threat. I can act, sing and dance, along with that I also have a reputation of being a frigid bitch, and i'm not ashamed to agree with that. I'm just very committed to my work.
what was your childhood like?
Well because of my father's job and the fact that I am an only child I was very spoiled, not just in the material sense, with toys and clothes, but also with the arts. When I was 4 my mother signed my up for dance lessons and when I was 5 my mother signed me up for acting lessons, and at the age of 10 I was signed up for singing lessons. My mother also took me to the city to see numerous Broadway performances. My mother made sure I was shown the wonders of Broadway and musical theater at a very young age, in a way I think my mother is living vicariously through me. You see, my mother was going to be a star, until she got rejected from MCOA, she just didn't have enough talent and she's made it her mission to make sure I become the star she never got to be. She's a stage mom in every sense of the word, I was in a couple of commercials as a baby because of her. Yes I am extremely talented, and that's me being modest, some have even said i'm the next Barbra Streisand if she had a better nose, who I idolize, the singing and acting is for my mother my real passion is in ballet. I had to beg my mother to allow me ballet lessons with my regular dance lessons when I was 7, she said my focus had to be on my acting and singing.
what is your personality like?
Well don't be fooled by my 'sweet' face and charming smile, i'm an actress and as such I know how to appear to people, I know how to manipulate people's emotions to get what I want, and call me spoiled but I always get what I want. I'm ambitious and cunning, I know how to get what I want when I want it and I don't anybody get in my way, if they do then well I've been known to be quite a bitch if someone gets on my bad side, which many have. I've done this before in high school, I was known as the 'drama queen' I got the lead roles in the school plays and I ruled the school with an iron fist. Some may also know me to be a frigid bitch, i'm just very competitive, I have to be the best, the one to beat, the it girl and at MCOA that's what i'm known as. I work hard to be the 'it' girl between being a double major in drama and dance and my singing classes and my regular studies I don't have much time for myself, but I don't mind because I know that's what it takes to be a star. Now as I said before I'm an actress I know when to be charming and sweet, or to appear flirty, or to be funny I can read people very well but I may be giving you a sweet smile but in my mind i'm actually thinking that i'm better than you, because I am, I work hard to be better than everyone I think i'm entitled to think like that. Now I'm not all bad though, if you're on my good side I can be fun to be around I have a good sense of humor that tends to be sarcastic and witty, but most of the time I don't let people see that unless I have to because I don't trust many people, you have to be selfish and distrustful to become successful in Broadway.
what are you afraid of?
If I was talking to any of my peers I would say i'm fearless, but I'm being honest now. I am terrified of spiders and basically any kind of bug. I also have a fear of letting my mother down or disappointing her in anyway I just want to make her happy. I'm also a little paranoid that I'll fail at fulfilling my dreams, in fact i'm afraid of failing anything, I'm a perfectionist, I have to be perfect.
How would you describe your appearance?
I've been told that i'm a 'classic beauty' with my wavy blonde hair, high cheek bones, and full lips. I have a dancers build, tall, lean and graceful. I stand at 5 foot seven and weigh 110 pounds. Call me conceited but I'll just call it confidence, because I think I'm gorgeous.
